What should we wear?
Choose outfits that coordinate rather than match. Neutral and earthy tones photograph beautifully, and adding layers or textures brings depth and interest to your images. Avoid large logos or distracting patterns, and prioritize comfort — especially for kids!
Before the session, I’ll send you a detailed style guide with tips and suggestions for outfits, shoes, and makeup to help you feel confident and prepared.
Where will the session take place?
You have a few options for your family session:
Outdoors – Most of my sessions take place in beautiful natural settings like parks, fields, or scenic urban spots with great light.
My home studio – A cozy space with a living room and bedroom setup, perfect for relaxed, lifestyle images. If you’re interested, I can send photos of the setup.
Your home – Capturing your family in the comfort of your own space for a truly personal touch.
As a separate package, sessions at a beautiful professional studio in “studiosatvicparkyyc” are also available and highly recommended for indoor family sessions with a clean and timeless look.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
Don’t worry — it’s completely normal! I focus on creating a fun and stress-free experience. Candid photos often turn out to be the most beautiful and genuine, even if things don’t go perfectly.
How do we book a session?
Booking is simple! Once you’ve chosen your preferred date and package, I’ll send over a booking link and agreement form. A retainer fee is required to secure your date, and the remaining balance is due on or before the session day.
When will we receive our photos?
You can expect to receive your final edited images within 2 weeks after your session.
Can we bring our dog or include grand parents?
Absolutely! Pets are part of the family, and I love including them in sessions. Grand parents can join too — just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
